The Adirondack Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) is proud to announce the launch of the State Small Business Credit Initiative(SSBCI)

Request for Qualifications for Professional Services for Small Business Support

AEDC is seeking submittals of qualifications for services to its small business clients, particularly to be used in support of its State Small Business Credit Initiative Technical Assistance (SSBCI-TA) grant through NY State Empire State Development (ESD).

Expertise Sought

AEDC is seeking experienced professional subcontractors to serve small business clients in the following areas:

• Legal (practicing attorney in NYS), including Human Resources

• Accounting (and bookkeeping)

• Financial Advisory-Strategic business evaluation (finance/operations-focused)

• Financial Advisory- Business counseling (focused on loan readiness)

Time commitment

Services would be rendered for the period of June 1, 2025 through at least May 30, 2026. Renewal beyond this time is possible. The expected time commitment would vary by client demand but not exceed 20 hours per month.

Qualifications/Submittal

A minimum of 2-3 years of personal or corporate/organizational experience is required in the area of expertise. Please provide the following:

- Letter of introduction summarizing relevant expertise, detailing individual or individuals who would provide services

- Organization/corporation/personal resume detailing at least 2-3 years of relevant experience

- Provide hourly rate for services

- At least one professional small business reference
