The Adirondack Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) is a 501c3 nonprofit economic development organization which grows communities across northern New York State by serving start up and existing small businesses. AEDC provides critical access to capital, comprehensive no-cost business counseling and training to help small businesses launch, overcome obstacles and expand.
AEDC is a U.S. Department of the Treasury certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and as such works primarily with economically and socially disadvantaged entrepreneurs and investment in distressed communities. AEDC is also a U.S. Small Business Administration Microlender and a New York State Entrepreneurship Assistance Center. Our service area includes Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Oneida, Oswego, Saratoga, Saint Lawrence, Warren, Washington counties of northern New York.
